Boreas Seabed, ARGH!!!
I'm an Assassin, if that wasn't obvious.
This mission is driving me insane. I fail about 3 times because of Argo, finally get down a pattern of beating him, but then can't beat the enemy mobs after (sadly enough). Having to hold onto that spear really ruins things, as I need to charge it up, but then can't attack normally while lugging it around. Meanwhile, my stupid henchmen (I utterly despise Anet for sticking you with such a limited selection) will aggro everything in sight and up getting mass murdered.
And, of course, I can't join a group because I'm an Assassin...
Please, help is greatly needed.

Don't lug the spear around. Argo is the only possible problem a hench group could have in that mission. Other than that, with one interrupt on your bar, you could do it blindfolded.
Henchman selection could be giving you problems, who do you pick ?

Bring one spellcasting friend to lug the spear, whether it be Guildy or just a buddy type. And as an Assassin myself, I can say that it is possible to get groups for that mission. Did it twice - though the first group seemed to contain the entire concentrated stupidity of every district in the entirety of the outpost, across the servers. That's not good -_-
Still, second did fine, and so long as you lay down the law - do NOT drop the spear till ye get to the Giant Squidbilly - he's fairly easy to knock out. Drop the spear, make damn sure his Jade Furies are interrupted, go recharge the spear against random baddies, drop it again. Simple.

You can do that mission with henchies! Even as an Assassin!
Key Skills are:
Disrupting Stab
Exhausting Failure
Death's Charge
Blinding Powder
Key Henchmen: Spirit
Shadow Art = 10+

Walkthrough
=============
Do use call target(ctrl + shift + space), this is why I like henchmen better than human, because henchmen follows that target that's being called.
The first group is ez, just remember to kill the necromancer first, because it removes enchantments. Blind the bosses so they won't hit you much
The second group is also pretty ez, just kill the protection monk boss first. Remember to interrupt and use call target
The third, Argo's group is probably the easiest one! Just don't aggro them until your spirit henchmen summons shelter spirit. Call target on Argo, and your henchmen will start charging. Use death's charge to get close to him, and use interrupts on these three spells ONLY! Argo's Cry, Meteor, and Meteor Shower!
The ez going until the last boss. Call target, and interrupt Jade Fury ONLY. Remember to use Blinding Powder to blind the guy, his normal attack do well of 200 damage.
Bringing the spear helps against the boss, but you really don't need it. Interrupt and blind is to key to killing him.

Thanks for the tips! I finally finished this (though I'm sure it took off several years form my life).
Funny, I didn't realize Assassins could interrupt so well until this mission.

Take all the defensive henchies.
Take Disrupting stab and if A/Me any antisignet skill.
Take assassin henchman.
1. Group
Select Necromancer. Kill him, wait for rez, kill him again, so tehy rez him again. All rez sigs spent, go for bosses because they have highest damage output.
2. Group
Obvious target here is the healer boss. Kill her twice, then ranger boss and others. I recommend using Flashing blades for elite to make barrage hurt less.
3. Group
I hide so group comes out unopposed and starts patrolling. Then I call Argo and go straight for him. Save your disrupting stab. Assassin hench will daze him. And he should go down fast. Immediately go for the mesmer boss. She will try to rez so stab her in the face with disrupting. Hopefully if you picked enough offensive henchies she will go down without rezzing Argo. Clean up.
Spear gets charged even when on the floor. When the giant squid pops up. Kill all the mobs around him if you can. Any time the giant squid starts casting jade fury he will draw a white circle around him. Wait until he is almost finished and stab him with disrupting stab. If you save disrupting it should recycle fast enough for you to prevent him from ever getting off jade fury. Without it he is not much threat. In the mean time kill the nearby squid and focus down any squid he rezes. This will charge up spear, which you pick up and drop right away dealing 1900 dmg if it is lvl 5 one.
That's how I made it through it with assassin and henchies.
